In Genesis 1:1, the Bible immediately introduces us to God, in the first verse, as a Creative being. "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." As this is the first piece in the "Echoes of the Unseen" series, it is fitting that Gen 1:1 be the scripture that resonates with it. Here, we can see that the first thing He shares with us is His creativity. I am constantly reminded of what a perfect artist He is from every aspect of detail He put into life itself, all the way down to the smallest atom. From His canvases of the sky, our intricately networked nervous system, the music trees make as they sway in the wind, water burbling down a stream, to the dance of a campfire are all examples of his brushstrokes. For me, God emphasizing His creativity motivates me to do the same and respond to His creativity within me.
