A handcrafted leather bag built in honor of the Japanese people and their spirit of Shokunin — the mastery of one's craft driven by spiritual and social obligation.
Inspired by the moment in November 1929 when Seiko presented the Japanese government railway with a pocket watch — a cultural milestone so significant that train delay certificates are still issued in Japan today.
Materials: full grain natural vegetable tanned leather, hand-forged 99% pure silver hardware, hand-built silver chain (35+ hours), Seiko GMT mod (NH34 movement, SKX007 chassis, sapphire crystal, ceramic 24-hour bezel insert, orange GMT hand, assembled to maker's specification), sheepskin lining, NTAG 424 DNA.
Front: JNR EC 457 (1969–2014). Back: JGR C51 steam locomotive (1929 era). Includes the Timely Mini Bag — a near-replica companion piece connected via nickel plated trigger snap.
