Between the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico lies Islamorda, one of the five main Florida Keys. Hidden within this popular vacation spot lies a picturesque retreat, an island within the island. That was my magnet. Walking along the grounds, I felt transported into a world where white organza blew in the breeze, lush gardens lined the walkways with tropical plants and exotic flowers. I explored further to discover more of this idyllic sanctuary, as the air around me changed and a glimmer in the distance caught my eye.
