I created this piece to explore the emotions of partnership and mourning with loss. Usually, one partner is left behind on earth as the other passes on from the physical world.
Grieving is an arduous process, but peace can be found within once realizing they will be reunited soon again
I intentionally made this ambiguous, posing the question- Did the skeleton outlive the piano, or vice versa?
The skeleton can symbolize death... but wait, that’s the piano’s funeral ?
Is he watching over the funeral from above... or is it a memory he’s still mourning ?
