This is not a self-portrait but it could have been as a running enthusiast too. But on this particular morning, I was behind the lens to catch the first rays of sunlight in this top place (in my opinion) to enjoy the golden light. Along the banks of the Seine under the Pont des Arts and a most mesmerizing view of the Pont Neuf and the Conciergerie in the background swept by this bright golden flare.

This image is part of the "Golden Fragments of Paris" collection which showcases the City of Light perfectly adorned by the soft and warm golden light that occurs either in the time preceding sunset or in the time following sunrise. The golden hour is obviously THE one most hunted for by all photographers given it produces beautiful natural light that is so enjoyable to work with.
