This artwork represents the peaceful protesting of the mothers in my homeland country Iran who've lost their children for seeking their fundamental human rights.
Iran has a history of anti-government protests and uprisings with violent responses by the IR authorities i.e. the killings of 1500 protesters in November 2019, the violent crackdown on demonstrations in Mahshahr, and the shot down of Ukraine Flight 752 by the regime forces.
While shutting down internet access to people for 10 days, gov killed more than 1500 people in the protests and arrested 7500 more (some are still in jail with no access to any lawyer). To this day every once in a while on social media, there is someone with a picture of their loved one on their chest asking for help and justice for their children.

This artwork was initially minted in the first quarter of 2021 as an ERC-1155 token on the OpenSea Shared Storefront contract. After I got banned from OS (because of sanctions imposed on Iran), with the approval of the token holder to burn the token, I reminted the artwork on my contract 'Nedtzo' as an ERC-721 token and transferred it to the collector.
