Delicate light at dusk dapples wavelets as they create a path to the magical tranquillity of Christmas.
I created this image from one of my original photographs of a small bay in Ireland along the Shannon Estuary.
The blue mood and wavelets signify the dissonance and loneliness that often colour the season for many, while the soft light and brightly decorated tree offer a sense of relief, safety and shelter.
