Woods in the dark is a bit of a scary place. Woods just before the dark, well it’s a place of peace like no other.
Spending the last light amongst the calmness of the woods, hearing the birds chirping as they come home for the night, and the rustle of the leaves in the soft evening breeze sends a chill down the spine every time.
As the air filled with quiet noise, my mind was drained of all worldly worries. Roaming around the woods picking out frames through the viewfinder, with some fresh oxygen boosting my brain, I felt excited and calm at the same time.
I don’t usually meditate, if there’s a kind of meditation I would do in a heartbeat, it would be spending the Last Light of the day in the Woods.
