this is a story about duality.
about standing face to face with two parts of yourself.

they are opposite of each other.
they cannot know themselves without one another.

i never knew who i really was. just two voices, pulling in different directions.

one part of me wants to be hidden.
she is like water.
she lives at the bottom of the ocean.
she loves to be alone.
she is artistic, dreamy, and lives inside her heart.

the other girl wants to be seen.
to shine.
like fire.
she is so energetic.
she loves connection.

for each of them, it's hard to face the other.
or to become just one dimension of life.

but a thin green vein, a quiet green heart, connects them both.
