February 8th 2024 marked the 28th anniversary of the day John Perry Barlow wrote the Declaration of Independence of Cyberspace. Interestingly, just a day prior to that, marked 6 years since his death. John Perry Barlow was a poet, essayist, cattle rancher, and cyber-libertarian political activist who even wrote some songs for The Grateful Dead and other artists. He was also a co-founder of the Electronic Frontier Foundation, an international non-profit group dedicated to defending civil digital rights on the internet.
