THE ARTIST
My name is Hendro Soetrisno, a multidimensional artist who passionately brings visions to life through my meticulous creations. I am not just a photographer; I am also a graphic designer, illustrator and fine artist, infusing a multidimensional approach into my work to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.
As a visual storyteller, I believe that every image should evoke awe and inspiration, taking the audience to unexplored worlds. I don't hesitate to invest months in meticulous craftsmanship and dedicate extensive hours to post-production for many of my works, ensuring that there are no shortcuts taken in refining every detail to mirror the vivid scenes of my imagination.
In the world of post-production, I experiment extensively with colors, shapes, and textures, creating captivating visual narratives that stir emotions and ignite the viewer's imagination. Drawing inspiration from children's books and the allure of animations, I explore the power of colors and shapes to convey emotions and tell stories.
Countless hours of practice and refinement have gone into honing my craft, enabling me to create awe-inspiring and thought-provoking works of art that defy convention. Through my artistic creations, I aim to transport viewers to extraordinary worlds, where the boundaries of imagination and reality blur.
I invest my heart and soul into each step of the creative process, from envisioning the concept to capturing the perfect moment, whether through the lens of my camera or the strokes of my pen and tablet. The real magic happens during post-production, where I meticulously refine and enhance every aspect of the image to align with my artistic vision. It's worth mentioning that I prefer a hands-on approach to my craft, emphasizing the authenticity of manual craftsmanship and the distinctive touch that arises from human creativity, without the use of AI assistance.
Colors play a pivotal role in my work, seen as a language of emotions capable of eliciting profound feelings. With careful precision, I delicately manipulate hues, saturations, and contrasts, weaving a tapestry of vibrant tones that breathe life into my compositions.
Beyond the technical aspects, my fine art is driven by a desire to spark curiosity and ignite the imagination. Each piece I create is infused with a narrative that invites viewers to embark on their own personal journey of interpretation. Whether bringing to life a fleeting moment, depicting the majesty of the natural world, or revealing the beauty found in the mundane, I aim to uncover hidden stories and share them with the world.
My artistic process is a labor of love and dedication, requiring patience, perseverance, and a constant thirst for growth. I am committed to pushing the boundaries of my creativity, continuously evolving as an artist, and finding new ways to express my unique perspective through my work.
Ultimately, my greatest joy comes from the connection forged between my art and those who experience it. By sharing my artistic vision, I aim to inspire and awaken a sense of wonder in others, encouraging them to see the world through fresh eyes and embrace the beauty that surrounds us all.
