This work is a composite of photographs taken in NYC between 2003 and 2004 that I augmented in 2023 using AI and 3D; it has taken 20 years to complete after sitting in my archives from my first experimentations with digital art.
I uploaded this collage to Flickr in 2006 after it sat in a series of external hard drives that kept breaking (https://www.flickr.com/photos/hhb3/218112898/in/album-72157594239641603/).
Originally titled Nite & Day, I revisited this work in 2023 and submitted an AI & 3D augmented version for a show in Washington D.C. by Revart (https://www.instagram.com/revart_global/)
The collector of this work can choose to purchase a physical museum quality print or an AI & algorithmic fueled oil painting using Artmatr (https://twitter.com/artmatrco)
Night and day
No matter the hour
You play.
On a drive at midnight
A ferry ride commute
Through the window of restaurant
By the shores of the rocky beach
A arthouse film in Tribeca
Thank you for letting me see
And create so many things through the years
I hope you never fade
Even though I know
It is inevitable
