In the end you have to face yourself, The image you have created through thought over time. Who you think you are...all the stored up memories that make up the you, the self, the ego... Your past experiences, knowledge and recorded memory from which you act in prejudice. You are a bundle of memory, sorry to say so but the idea of a higher self and soul is all made up by thought! This illusionary 'me' that is different from anyone else, Is it really? Or I am conditioned to believe so? When you go through suffering, who is the entity that suffers? Have you ever asked yourself these questions? Is it not the image I have about myself...I am ambitious, I'm stupid, I'm smart, I am so and so...you make a conclusion, an idea of who you are and act it out! Look at how limited we have made life to be in our thinking, always trying to box and make conclusions or definite patterns in search of psychological security! My country, my God, my beliefs, my culture and God forbid anyone trespasses against that which you identify yourself with. You must look within yourself for enlightenment You must face things as they are. Organizations cannot make you free, no man from outside can, nor organized worship. This freedom doesn't come from egotistic self expression nor through compulsion or imitation. Mind must free itself from the background of tradition, habit and prejudice. There can be love and intelligent fulfilment only when you wake up and begin to free yourself from the net of illusions, the many illusions you have created about yourself. To have this profound revolution you must become fully conscious of the structure you have created about yourself, you must know the prison in which you are living and in examining it without self-defense you will find out for yourself it's true significance, which no other can convey to you! There's no authority when it comes to matters of the psyche, you have to face yourself. Observe how conditioned you are, always acting from the past and never in the present. My intention is to make man free, rejoicing as the bird in the clear sky, unburdened, independent, ecstatic in that freedom.
