This coastal wetland is surrounded by a system of mangroves, dunes, cacti and areas with archaeological remains from prehistoric times, where the waters of the Sea of Cortez seem to be painted like a watercolor with wonderful blue tones ranging from sky blue to navy blue.
One of the most emblematic beaches in Baja, also included in the top 10 of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico. This protected natural area is considered Natural Heritage by Unesco, within the set "Protected Islands and Natural Areas of the Gulf of California", for such reason you need a special permission to fly here.
