There were no planets then. There were no comets then. There were no stars then. There were no galaxies then. Before the beginning of everything, before the birth of everything. It was just him and her. I wasn't there yet. But to them, I already existed. I couldn't see them, but I knew what they looked like. I looked at them, they were waiting for me. I chose them. They chose me. They looked at each other and I looked at them. I'm starting to feel it. I started out so warm, but almost immediately I began to feel the cool air. My first wind. My first breath. The air felt so delicious. I wanted to breathe it in again and again. Out of the deep darkness, I found myself in a place filled with light. It was so bright, I couldn't open my eyes. I was so eager to look around, but I had to get used to the new place. The darkness where I was was so cozy, I remember being there. It was so spacious at first, but then I felt cramped. And when it got crowded, they released me into a world where I would never be crowded again.
