In the dark where secrets lie,
There gleams the fire of a cat's all seeing eyes
A photograph I shot of my late cat Clyde, on a warm summer evening, when him and I were hanging out at the edge of the river, deep in the woods where we always ran around and played together.
Photos like these are especially important to me because they keep the memories that I’ve made with my feline friends alive and well, even when they’re no longer among the living.
Clyde unexpectedly passed away in the spring of 2023. He was fine one day, and then went downhill the day after. I'm still shocked and immensely saddened that he's gone. But I know I'll never forget him.
