She fell into the void, trying to find her long lost heart, that had taken the form of a pear. The years had passed, and she still couldn't find it.
It was kept by a giant creature, a black swan, or so she had heard.
The woman entered the passage, and started to fall...
Her heart was hidden in a world underneath; as she began to tumble, she was lost, just like her heart...
//Tale of the Blue Pear is an internationally exhibited body of work, started in 2013. It consists of a series of artworks about a woman who has lost her heart, and enters a parallel universe, hoping to find it again. There she finds talking animals, strange characters, giant beings, superpowers, as well as her own alter egos. With subtle elements of allegory and irony, this visual story raises questions about our own lives and the never-ending quest for inner peace and happiness.
