What of these rules
We are expected to follow
And what of these fools
Who made them,
Who break them,
Who defy, twist and feign them
And leave the rest in chaos,
Unarmed and afraid
To leave.
An ongoing epidemic of addiction
To drugs of envy, profit, and greed
Lifeless numb, an inevitable affliction
Wherein humans believe
They must concede
To succeed.
But not me.
I will not fall victim, nor will I settle
I’ve forged this armour, impermeable metal
This is a revolution.
While beta seeks alpha, I stand alone
Blazing this trail, a new path unknown.
Guided by light,
A rainbow in sight,
This is my evolution.
