Cheerfully chirping, briskly aflutter
Animals spiritedly buzzing abound
Lusciously verdant, ruggedly regal
Sturdily supporting all life around
Secretly whispering, inaudibly rustling
Chittering exuberantly nowhere to be found
Brilliantly blazing, fallen petals of crimson
Unceremoniously strewn upon the ground
Eerily silent, unmistakably dormant
Frozen white speckles descend softly inbound
Unabashedly barren, lifelessly brittle
Patiently biding without making a sound
Until…
Eagerly awaited, excitedly returning
Slowly but surely from effigy grew
Freshly sprouted, graciously hosting
Vibrantly teeming once more with life anew
