A sunset skyline drawn in 7,376 single strokes that cross one another more than 2.5 million times. Here every crossing is a neural synapse. The city is not plotted into view; it wakes. A single spark on the first arc races along the line and jumps at each crossing, and the drawing appears wherever the signal reaches. A single touch only stirs the strokes beneath it. Charge adds up the way it does in a neuron: tap the same spot three times quickly, or press and hold, and once it crosses threshold an avalanche fires, running along the strokes and favoring lines of the same color, so the sparks stay inside a tower or two. A long press lights a whole neighborhood. Drag to leave sparks behind your finger. Left alone, the city fires quietly on its own.
After dusk, by your local time, the city sleeps. Slow waves sweep across it and carry the sunset colors back for a few seconds before they fade.
