Sometimes Mother Natures artwork can only be seen with a birds eye, and it with this alternative view, that I came to find shapes in the salt lake that resemble the ocean's swell, or even a child like drawing of a small mountain range.
The shapes and the colours of the salt lakes change with the level of the water, it's salinity and algae growth. Full after rain and slowly evaporating as the heat of summer takes hold it is an ever changing scene and palette.
