In childhood, we do not perceive evil, we do not suspect it in others, we do not expect it. Later, family or society show us that relationships with other people can be quite painful. The first broken friendships, the first failures in love... and so a completely open heart begins to grow walls in an attempt to protect itself from pain. By the time we reach our 30s or 40s, each of us is a tall castle, with dozens of walls and moats full of crocodiles. Only a chosen few can get inside...
This is very sad. We all want to share our loneliness with someone, but we fear pain just as much as we fear remaining alone forever.
We want to return to childhood and open our hearts again without fear.
