A photograph taken from my studio window on a beautiful afternoon after a family lunch. Life offered us this sunset as a way to close the day with love, gratitude, and joy. The colors felt warm and powerful, and capturing that moment in its essence felt like a gift.
The second image was taken in an abandoned house belonging to my partner’s family, in a small town outside Bogotá called Cucunubá. We visited the house, and I was drawn to a raw, unfinished window that reflected a strong light from the outside.
Both images hold different forms of light, one grounded in presence, the other emerging from absence. And somewhere between them, a quiet realization appears, living is also about recognizing how light finds its way through both what is full and what is empty.
