A photograph taken inside one of the rooms of one of Bogotá’s most important clubs, “KINDER,” just days before its opening. I had the opportunity to paint a mural inside the space, which allowed me to experience the environment in a very unique way. This sofa was placed in the middle of one of the club’s main atmospheres, “KAPPUT.” Something about its position and composition in that exact moment immediately captured my attention, almost like a pause hidden inside the intensity of the space. The second image was taken outside Bogotá, in Cajicá, Cundinamarca, after painting a wall alongside my friend Yuseph Zapata. The mountain stood within a vast and industrially active landscape, yet the contrast between the sand, the plants, and the sky created a powerful natural harmony that felt impossible to ignore. Both images hold very different energies, one shaped by human creation and nightlife, the other grounded in the openness of the earth. Somewhere between those contrasts, this piece reflects a feeling I continue discovering through life and art, that beauty often appears when chaos, nature, movement, and presence coexist at the same time.
