A photograph taken from my home window beside a beautiful sunset and a plant in the process of regeneration, something deeply symbolic of life and of the personal journey I’ve been moving through this year. Watching something heal, grow, and return to itself has become a quiet reflection of my own process.
The second image was captured as a macro texture of a tree in the Las Moyas mountains here in Bogotá. Inside the forest, there are moments that feel almost surreal. This photograph represents the power of Mother Earth, her connection, textures, and vibrant colors that make her endlessly unique.
Both images speak about renewal in different ways, one intimate and personal, the other ancient and universal. And with Mother’s Day in the air, this piece also feels like a tribute to the nurturing force that exists in nature, in love, and in life itself.
Living, after all, is learning how to honor the processes that patiently help us bloom again.
