About the process
‘70 years from now’ is an AI-generated image that was created using a photograph of my niece Ellie as a reference, which was taken in 2022. The subject’s position, general physical characteristics, posture and lighting were conserved as much as possible and transposed to the era in which the AI output is based. The idea behind this work is to be able to use AI to recreate visions from the past, and to imagine scenarios from the future based on visuals from the present.
