A photograph taken in Bogotá’s nightlife district, Zona T / 85, a place filled with commerce, bars, restaurants, clothing stores, and constant tourism. The black-and-white contrast brings out textures, lights, and small details that made being present in that moment feel even more vivid.
The second image was captured outside Bogotá in a beautiful natural area near Cajicá, a town surrounding the city. There is not much to explain about why I chose to capture that moment, the sky, the sunset, and the colors that day felt exceptional. The clouds looked like cotton candy, while the pure blue atmosphere seemed to cleanse the energy around everything.
Both images hold opposite rhythms, one fast and urban, the other soft and expansive. Somewhere between those worlds, a subtle feeling remains, living is also about recognizing how certain moments arrive simply to remind us that beauty still exists, unexpectedly and completely.
