A photograph taken in Cota, Cundinamarca, the small town where I went to school. A place that still carries some of the best memories of my life, friendships, unforgettable experiences, and a deep emotional energy connected to my past. In the town square, I found the wall of an old house, beautiful, unique, with a very special flower vase resting beside its window. The colors felt incredibly powerful, and I wanted to capture that moment in its purest essence.
The second image was captured while looking down at the ground of a mountain trail. I found layers of accumulated leaves, each one existing in a different stage of time, some drier, some more alive, others darker and fading. The textures of life and transformation have always deeply drawn my attention.
Both images speak quietly about memory, time, and change. Somewhere between vibrant color and organic decay, a subtle reflection appears, living is also about learning how to appreciate every stage of transformation, even the ones that seem to be slowly disappearing.
