A photograph taken in the beautiful town of Cota, Cundinamarca. I became fascinated by the relationship between countryside life and the idea of the city. Some of the houses feel luxurious and expansive, while many others remain deeply humble and simple. These spaces are often surrounded by land for cultivation, filled with nature, history, and the quiet passage of time.
The second image was captured directly from the textures of a rock I found there in the town. What caught my attention was not only its color, but also its pores and surface details. It reminded me that everything holds life in its own way, even without movement or animation.
Both images reflect different forms of existence, one shaped by human presence and social contrast, the other by the silent language of nature itself. Somewhere between them, a subtle awareness emerges, the art of living is also about learning how to observe life beyond what is obvious, recognizing energy, history, and beauty in even the quietest surfaces.
