Smoking hookah (or qalyan, as Persians call it) was one of the few things that recognized neither poor nor rich, men nor women. It was a shared pastime for everyone. It was, and still is, a part of the culture, like the Persian carpet, inseparable from Persian life.
-Physical Watercolor painting, stained technique.
The colors were chosen to reflect the vibrant side of history, its moments of joy.
-Inspired by Antoine
