BLUE DIVIDE comes from a place where I feel both connected and separated at the same time.

For me, blue is not just calm… it’s depth, distance, silence. It stretches like something I can’t fully cross. The divide is that invisible line where emotion shifts, where clarity meets confusion, where warmth touches something colder.

I see this work as a moment suspended between two inner states. One side holds light, movement, a sense of reaching. The other carries weight, shadow, something more internal and unresolved. They don’t fully merge, but they also don’t exist without each other.

When I named it, I was thinking about that space in between…
the place where I pause, where I question, where I feel both present and distant.

This divide isn’t a separation I want to fix.
It’s something I recognize in myself.
