In this artwork, I explore the moment when certainty disappears and emotion takes its place. I use deep shadows alongside vivid crimson, magenta, cobalt, and gold to create a landscape shaped more by feeling than by geography. The pale luminous center becomes a place of emergence, as if light is forcing its way through confusion, pain, or silence. I wanted the composition to feel fluid and instinctive, where softness meets rupture and darkness holds space for brightness.

For me, the title THE BROKEN HORIZON speaks about the collapse of what I once believed would remain steady. A horizon often symbolizes hope, direction, and the future. When it breaks, it marks a turning point—when expectations fracture and life can no longer be seen in the same way. This title reflects loss, change, and emotional upheaval, but also resilience. Even when the horizon is broken, it still carries light. In that fracture, I find honesty, transformation, and the possibility of beginning again.
