THE FALLING
This work feels like the moment just before acceptance—when something inside finally gives in to gravity.
The upper part bleeds downward in long, fragile streaks, as if emotions can no longer hold their shape. They collapse, stretch, dissolve. What once stood firm begins to fall—not violently, but inevitably. There is no resistance left, only movement.
The deep reds and blacks carry a sense of rupture, of something breaking open. Not loud, not explosive—more like a quiet internal collapse that has been building for too long. The darkness drips, heavy with everything unspoken.
And yet, beside it, there is light.
A soft, warm horizon—almost untouched—exists in contrast. It does not stop the fall, but it witnesses it. It suggests that even in descent, there is space, breath, distance. A place where the weight does not fully reach.
Emotionally, the piece lives in that fragile tension: between losing control and letting go, between breaking and becoming lighter, between the fear of falling and the strange relief of no longer holding on.
The Falling is not only about descent—it is about surrender.
About the quiet moment when you stop resisting what is already happening,
and allow yourself to move through it.
