Harsh elements, beautiful landscapes, and stories written in the snow. It’s amazing that so many creatures can survive and thrive in the cold winter climate in Canada.
After countless days spent wandering through snow covered fields and braving the bitter cold, I was fortunate enough to witness this red fox mid hunt, leaping through the snow banks in search of its next meal. Moments like this are brief and unpredictable, but standing behind the lens as wild instinct unfolds in real time is one of the most rewarding connections I’ve experienced with nature.
A fleeting interaction between patience, precision, and survival in the heart of winter.
