Just left it breathing in the dark
Didn’t try to make it louder
Just tried to make it last

Every word a fingerprint
Every pause a sign
I didn’t raise the volume
I just trusted mine
I’ve seen messages get twisted
Truth get lost in sound
But something real keeps moving
Even when it’s passed around
I’m not racing for the moment
I’m not scared of coming late
I don’t know where you are now
Or when this finds you through
But I made it in the moment
And I sent it straight to you
Long after the lights burn out
Long after the names are gone
There’s a signal under static
Still holding on
Not louder
Just clear
