I have trouble seeing myself as an artist, especially in the crypto space, surrounded by fantastically creative people. I see myself more as a builder and a tester. I like to see how things work and am maybe more interested in the process than the end result, though I do get satisfaction if things work out well!
I chose this piece to represent me because it touches on themes I am dealing with right now: death, the passage of time, and change. Each moment we grow closer to death, but at the same time we are capable of almost limitless change, and that change can be beautiful and significant. It's seeing and appreciating that beauty, however fleeting, that makes that slow march worth it.
