The spiritual meaning of enlightenment is a state of heightened consciousness. It can be seen as awakening one's true nature and a deep understanding of life. It happens when one's consciousness transcends beyond the physical realm to connect with a higher power or source.
This steel-wool image depicts enlightenment. It is important to ignite the fire within to attain a higher level of consciousness. Higher the level, the brighter the light and enlightenment.
