Gorillaz once dropped Plastic Beach – a metaphor for a world gone synthetic: flashy looks, fake comfort, plastic dreams.
But what if we don’t run from it?
What if we rebuild?
Take the noise, the leftovers, the waste – and turn them into something you’d actually want to live in.
That’s how Palmstic Beach was born.
Not a utopia – just a choice.
Palms, bridges, clean light.
A reminder that you can still live with joy – even if the whole world feels a little plastic.
Every new day brings a little sunlight.
And if the sky is clear, under that light we can build something new –
a brighter world, full of warmth.
Even if the ground beneath us is plastic –
we can still use it as the base for something meaningful.
Ps. Started this piece back in autumn last year.
Took a while – lots of tiny details, mood shifts, and second thoughts.
But now it’s done. Finally feels right.
