The storm crowned itself in light — a jagged diadem bursting above the city, scattering branches of fire across the purple haze. Each tendril seemed to claim a new slice of the horizon, burning its claim into the night.
Photographed in 2025 from my building’s parking lot in Culiacán, Sinaloa. Due to ongoing regional conflict, I no longer have the freedom to roam the state as I once did, so every frame is captured from a fixed vantage point — waiting for storms to cross my line of sight.
This piece is part of Margins, a storm diary series born from moments between the grails — works that would be standouts in most collections, yet here live at the edge of my main body of work. Margins are offered at accessible entry prices to allow more collectors to join the archive, but each is 1/1 and never minted again.
I’ve spent years documenting Sinaloa’s storms as both an act of witness and an effort to preserve their beauty in a region better known for its dangers. Every capture is a negotiation with risk, weather, and time — a record of nature’s violence and grace, preserved so others can feel the electricity of these skies.
*Collector’s Legend:* Margins has a *permanent reward system*. Every collector who acquires *five Margins* receives a *sixth 1/1 Margins piece for free*. This ensures that committed supporters are recognized not only with ownership but with exclusive, unreleased work that will never be minted again.
