Cairn at Laugarhóll stands next to Gvendarlaug, the infamous Sorcerer's Cottage, a remarkable replica of a 17th century common people’s home in Iceland. It is on the grounds at Hotel Laugarhóll and is part of The Museum of Icelandic Sorcery and Witchcraft an hours drive away in Hólmavík.
September 2019 I was awarded the opportunity to live in Iceland for one month as an Artist in Residence at a small working farmhouse in the remote Westfjords. I spent my time photographing the regions landscape and GilsfjordurArts farm owner's winter sheepherding and mussel processing operations.
