Some think scars are pretty. I'm one of those, generally. Not because of the violence behind it, no, is not the violence that's... attractive. It's the story. It's knowing that, that mark, whatever shape it may have, tells a very unique story. And the person carrying it has learned something with it, to the point of having a physical mark. I do have different scars that tell different stories. As one does. But the scars I represent here have no physical shape. They're internal. And if I'd have to give an opinion, they hurt much more. Internal scars don't form until you, yourself, close the wound. Stitch it. Make it better. Internal wounds require a level of self-knowledge and self-forgiveness that you can take way too much time to acquire. And they keep on hurting, bleeding, far too long until you have what it takes to make it a scar, and not a wound. Those... aren't something to be attractive. But they can. You can. Make them heal. Even if the scar stays there... it stops bleeding.
