Based on a recent dream of mine:
Earth was at war with an alien army that was trying to invade. I was at the head of the defense and we crushed much of their military power and were winning.
Fast-forward and it's night time - me and my family are sleeping, but suddenly the leaders of these aliens come into my home.
They had me and my family gather in the living room to discuss, as they planned to come to a peace agreement since we weren't going to lose.
This figure is a rough depiction mostly resembling what that leader looked like.
Him and his wife became distracted by my son. They were fascinated with him - finding him cute and sweet
The wife started to make these gifts appear with her hands - starting as a glowing light that manifested into toys and miscellaneous gifts she kept giving to my son to make him smile.
It was very surreal - these frightening figures in my living room, no lights on - almost pitch black, aside from the light glowing from her hands, and these eerie lights that were seemingly a part of their chest - their bodies were like armor almost and the chest had the glowing light at the center.
And yet they had this sincere kindness towards my son, despite their ominous presence.
This was a very vivid dream that left me waking with conflicting emotions - both peaceful and disturbing in nature. I hope to evoke these same emotions with this drawing, even if only a little.
