In the beginning, the Great Cow created the pastures and the barn.
And the pastures were without fences, and emptiness; and darkness hung over the face of the meadow. And the spirit of the Great Cow moved upon the face of the waters.
And the Great Cow said, "Let there be grass," and there was grass.
And the Great Cow saw the grass, that it was good; and the Great Cow divided the sweet grass from the bitter weeds.
And the Great Cow called the grass Food, and the weeds it called Not-Food. And there was morning and there was evening, the first day.
And the Great Cow said, "Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the drinking pond from the mud puddles."
And the Great Cow made the firmament, and divided the clean waters which were under the firmament from the muddy waters which were above the firmament. And it was so.
And the Great Cow called the firmament Sky. And there was evening and there was morning, the second day.
And the Great Cow said, "Let the waters under the sky be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear, that there might be places to graze and places to rest." And it was so.
And the Great Cow called the dry land Field; and the gathering together of the waters called it Pond: and the Great Cow saw that it was good.
And the Great Cow said, "Let the field bring forth tender grass, yielding cud; and the clover bearing sweet nectar after its kind." And it was so.
And on the sixth day, the Great Cow created the Lesser Beasts: the farmer to tend the fields, the dog to herd the herd, and the human to milk the sacred udder.
And the Great Cow looked upon all that was made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.
Thus the pastures and the barn were finished, and all the host of them.
And on the seventh day the Great Cow ended the work and rested from all the work. And the Great Cow blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it, because on it the Great Cow had rested from all the work of creation and chewed the cud in peaceful contemplation.
