Artists‘ statement by Alex:
“It has been a captivating and imaginative journey collaborating on this exceptional piece. Together, [Snepsid, Mike Mongo, and myself] have crafted a mesmerizing audiovisual experience that elegantly fuses various artistic elements. The work reveals a fascinating transition between two images – an AI-generated exploration into the anatomy of generative creation by Snepsid, and a doodle-filled paper adorned with a thought-provoking message from the visionary Mike Mongo. This visual evolution is vivified though BIC BLUE flames, with the fire‘s hues meticulously tailored to achieve the desired emotional resonance.
”Throughout the creative process, we navigated and conquered numerous challenges, from harnessing the power of green screen technology and Kdenlive video editing software to employing GIMP for image manipulation and refinement. Along the way, we seamlessly blended artistic techniques with cutting-edge technology, infusing the project with an unmistakable aura of innovation and curiosity. To complete the immersive atmosphere of the piece, we incorporated Mike Mongo's evocative music track, ‘It's Happening Right Now.‘
”This remarkable artwork embodies the quintessence of collaboration, creativity, and technological ingenuity, harmoniously merging human and AI-generated elements. As a testament to the evolving relationship between humans and AI, the piece serves as a compelling reminder that, through cooperation and exploration, we can create profoundly impactful and inspiring art that captivates collectors and art enthusiasts alike.”
