Breakfast at Tiffany's movie was made in 1961 based on the novel by Truman Capote. While adapting the scenario, George Axelrod, the writer, wanted to throw in a couple futuristic scenes, where Holly contacts Paul on a future-design machine to meet up. The idea was found to be brilliant and couple scenes were shot. Later on, the producers wanted to keep the focus on the love story and cancelled the scenes. "It might confuse people, let's keep it clean", said one of the producers.
The photograph is from one of those cut-out scenes.
