Dear collector,
Now, thanks to you, Für Elise can open its petals to the world.
To trace the origin of this piece, let me take you to Spain – it was spring, and the flower-fields were in full bloom. The streets were filled with laughter and love. Yet part of me felt absent. As I wandered the streets of Barcelona, I longed for guidance, a sign from the universe. It was then that I chanced upon a hidden park—filled with orange blossom trees and lively fountains. Birds flocked and serenaded the air with their songs. As I sat on a bench, admiring the world around me, I began to realize that two paths lay open to me: allow the sorrow to rule my heart or become something new. In the end, it was the birds that showed me the path of joy. I continued my journey through Spain – making new friends along the way and immersing myself in the rich culture. I ventured from the vibrant streets of Barcelona to the tranquil pink lakes of Torrevieja, to the breathtaking vistas of Granada, and eventually, I found myself in Seville.
The land itself felt alive, from the wildflowers growing in the streets to the manicured rose gardens of the Royal Alcázar of Seville. Roses have always been special to me. And here, growing all alone in a hidden corner of the garden, was the most perfect rose I’d ever seen. As I stood there, spellbound by its beauty and solitude, I thought about what a rose signifies. Love, the force that binds hearts together. The unspoken promise to never let go. Self-discovery, finding harmony between vulnerability and strength. Family, the roots that ground us, the star that guides us. But most of all I thought about my sister, the person who understands my heart as only a sister can.
Growing up, she loved listening to Für Elise by Beethoven. For me, that song is hers. I dedicate Für Elise to her, a tribute to her unwavering support and boundless love. She is my rock, my best friend, a constant source of solace and strength. I am most myself when I am with her. She reminds me to take hold of the things I love and never look away.
Thank you for admiring this piece, for not looking away. May it bloom immortal, yours forever.
