Why do I feel so alone?
In the crowded streets, a hollow echo,
Voices blend, but mine seems lost.
Faces pass, strangers intertwined,
Yet a chasm within remains uncrossed.
A puzzle piece, adrift and displaced,
Searching for solace in this sea of unknown.
The ache within, unseen and unspoken,
A weight on my soul, an ache to be shown.
Amidst the laughter and joyful banter,
An emptiness whispers, silent and sly.
I yearn for connection, a genuine touch,
But solitude's curtain won't easily comply.
Questions swirl, like shadows in the dusk,
Why does this aloneness persistently reside?
In the depths of my being, I search for answers,
While the world moves forward, a constant tide.
Perhaps it's the fear of revealing my truth,
Afraid that others won't comprehend.
Yet deep down, I long for understanding,
A hand to hold, a confidant, a friend.
The stars above, distant and scattered,
Symbolize the vastness of my solitary plight.
But I remain resilient, seeking solace,
Guided by hope's ever-flickering light.
For in the depths of my solitude,
I discover the strength to face the unknown.
And though I may wander, feeling alone,
I know I'm not the only one on this journey, on my own.
