I wrote in my journal:
As an adult, I no longer have the resolute state of mind that I had as a child. When I was young, I would just start doing what I wanted to do, but as I grew up, my brain seems to be controlled by "opportunity cost", always afraid of choosing the wrong path and becoming a mediocre adult.
However, losing this determination is even more painful.
