Miss Kato lives in Yokohama, a Japanese city located on the east coast of the island of Honshu. Every day, during her lunch break, Miss Kato goes to eat at a small soba restaurant, located near her work.
The restaurant is simple and welcoming, with a few wooden tables and a counter where the cook prepares the soba, the house specialty, on sight. Soba are buckwheat vermicelli, typical of Japanese cuisine, and Miss Kato is fond of them. She prefers them cold, accompanied by a soy sauce and a little wasabi to spice up the flavour.
