The Mystery v5-dv2 (chroma stack)
GLB model in html environment
Dimensions variable (portrait orientation)
The Mystery version 5 is in a series of sculptural explorations on the subject of mortality. Drawing from the tradition of Memento Mori, a theme popular in Baroque painting and sculpture. A skull, a face, a rose, a braid. Bone, nature, beauty, life, death. The Mystery v5-dv2 (chroma stack) is a swirling, psychedelic totem nested within a custom HTML environment. Its looping, hypnotic meditation of infinite duration with motion ticking away time and unsettling color notes invites reflection on these mysteries.
